Become a member


If an organisation - shares our Mission and Values, has experience of assisting disabled people or other groups experiencing disadvantage into work, training or education, wishes to be a partner with us and to enjoy the benefits of membership - its Application is welcome!

Types of membership
Workability Europe offers two types of membership:

  • Full membership is available to umbrella not-for-profit NGOs or commercial entities directly employing or providing work, training, education, health and social care services to people with disabilities and other groups who are experiencing disadvantage. Full members have voting rights at the Annual General Meeting.
  • Associate membership is a special category of membership granted following application and approval by the Workability Europe Board. Examples of organisations eligible may be: educational and academic establishments, research departments or relevant associations, commercial companies/enterprises supporting or employing people with disabilities. Associate members have no voting rights.

Present conditions of membership

  • All applicant organisations must be committed to the shared Code of Values of Workability Europe.
  • All member organisations must commit to promote their membership of Workability Europe. Promotion actions include linking their website to the website of Workability Europe, using the Workability Europe logo and referring to their membership in the network on websites, publications and promotion materials.
  • All member organisations must become involved in the work of one or more Development Groups.

Fee categories
Full members pay an annual fee based on the number of service users/employees per organisation on five levels. Special conditions also apply. See application form for details.
