Need Your Help to People with Disabilities

Affected by Earthquakes and Tsunamis in Japan

YOUR HELP IS POWER! YOUR HELP IS HOPE!

The disaster never experienced in our history has brought immense damages. Confirmed death toll is over 12,000 as of today and more than 16,000 are still missing moreover.

No confirmed data yet however people with disabilities have been seriously damaged indeed.

Many dead including themselves, parents and family members, care staffs. Many of their houses were washed away by Tsunamis. Many of their working places were demolished by quakes. Many are forced to live in the refuges without necessary consideration with regard to their disabilities.

All attached photos are damages of work places for people with disabilities. The buildings are totally or partially collapsed and the facilities and machines for the production are seriously damaged. The most concern is that people with disabilities have lost their work places to go and are forced to stay at houses or refuges.

Workability International Japan does our best for the supports of affected member organizations and their people enabling to get back to the normal life as soon as possible. Our member organizations all over Japan have started their contribution to their colleagues affected. However the devastation was terribly huge. We need your help from the world. Your warm contribution will be used as followings.

  • To help people with disabilities in recovering their daily life
  • To help organizations in reconstructing their demolished buildings
  • To help organizations in repairing or newly purchasing their production facilities
  • To help any necessities for people with disabilities in lessening their sufferings
