Who are we

European employers supporting the disabled sector, social partners who negotiate agreements / partnerships

Our objectives

Stimulate at a European level a dialogue for employees and management in the field of the disability and participate actively in the creation and development of European policy

Our mission

  • Widen the representation of our federation to answer the criteria defined by the treaty of EU (Art. 138&139)
  • Make the EU authorities aware of the wish of disabled people to find and maintain a professional activity which allows them to be valued and improves their quality of life
  • Change society's perspective towards disabled people, especially the most vulnerable

Our values

We want to promote and defend the notion of � lifestreaming �, which involves :

  • A social model centered on projects for and by disabled people during their lifetime
  • A social model based on the fundamental rights, as defined by the European charter on human rights (health, education, work, housing...)
  • A social model which requires continuing, adaptable and quality professional support

Benefits of Membership

Currently there is no European authority which represents the employment sector of disabled people

By joining FEDES, you will be able to take part in specific European social dialogue

  • On the employment conditions of our employees (issues such as qualifications, salaries, working time, etc)
  • On the politics of non-discrimination and related papers
  • On State Aid Regulation
  • On preparing documents relating to social services of general interest
  • On the requirement to adapt Public Procurement rules and tenders

By joining FEDES, you will be continuously kept up to date and informed on any project and discussions within our sector

By joining FEDES, you will understand and take into account the practical issues of our members
