Members of Workability Europe commit themselves to the following Code of Values, what was developped and agreed by the members  of Workability International:

  • For every disabled worker and all employees, provide explicit employment or service agreements and receive equal pay for equal work
  • For disabled people, regardless of their level of disability, be entitled to participate in all types of employment, with the appropriate supports
  • For disabled people, encourage personal development through opportunities for career advancement and the acquisition of occupational and life skills
  • Promote the concept of self-determination and empowerment for people with disabilities in work and living
  • Operate equal opportunities for people with disabilities and their participation in decision-making at all levels in our organisation
  • Operate equal opportunities for employees at all levels in our organisation, with respect to issues of colour, race, gender, age, disability, ethnicity or religious beliefs
  • Is dedicated to best practice and high quality in employment activities, progression and transition services and lifelong learning and support for people with disabilities
  • Actively seeks to ensure a decent quality of life and a safe and inclusive working environment for all workers with disabilities
  • Actively promotes positive images of people with disabilities
  • Benchmarks our outcomes against best practice worldwide
  • Advocates for the value of people with disabilities to society developing their  employability and contribution to society

 

We will be transparent in our implementation of this Code of Values and provide information which demonstrates publicly our commitment to them.
